About me
My background is interdisciplinary. I have a B.A. in Human Rights studies and a M.S. in Development studies, both from Lund University. I see the Agenda 2030 Graduate School as a great opportunity for interdisciplinary collaborations and I am grateful for being part of this new initiative.
About my research project
My dissertation is about understanding the norms imbedded in the 2030 Agenda and the role they play when the Agenda is implemented at a local level. The focus is on empirical examples from the city of Malmö and the role local civil society actors have in multi-stakeholder partnerships for social sustainability. The dissertation looks at these partnerships from a human rights perspective focusing on questions of accountability, participation and equality/non-discrimination. Special attention is given to the principle of “Leave no one behind” and to economic inequality.
